Chateau Haut Batailley
Chateau Haut Batailley was previously part of Chateau Batailley, but when acquired in the 1930's by the Borie family of Chateau Ducru Beaucaillou, the land was split into two and Haut Batailley came into existence. The density of plantation is 10,000 vines per hectare with plantings of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc.Two wines are produced: Chateau Haut Batailley 120,000 bottles and Chateau La Tour l'Aspic 35,000 bottles.
